To obtain a CPL, students have to complete 200 Hours of flying
and also pass all the exams on the subjects mentioned above, which
is conducted by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The RTR exam alone is conducted by the Wireless and Planning Commission
(WPC) of India.
What after CPL?
Being in Possession of a Commercial Pilot License is the basic
requirement to enter into an Airline industry as a Pilot. After
obtaining this License, a student can join any Airline as a Pilot
(First Officer). And as he gains experience he can become the
Captain of that particular Aircraft he flies, depending on the
Airlines requirement.
A CPL holder can also join any Charter company as a pilot or
even become a Flight Instructor at a Flying school or even join
the Indian Air Force. There are many more such possibilities in
the Aviation Industry for a CPL holder).
Private Pilot License (PPL)
